About Me

I’m an applied policy researcher with the Idaho Policy Institute at Boise State University. I study pressing public policy issues in order to support informed decision-making among policymakers and organizational leaders.

I am passionate about using community-engaged research to build better, more representative public services. Nine years of leading and collaborating on research projects for local governments and nonprofits have made me an expert in project planning and research methodology. I am closely familiar with the fields of housing, healthcare, transportation, education, and economic development, and take a systems-oriented approach to understanding services in the context of these overlapping public needs.

I received my PhD in public policy and administration from Boise State University’s School of Public Service in 2024. My dissertation involved conversations with more than forty homelessness service providers across the United States, with the objective of understanding how these organizations learn from their clients and adjust their service approaches according to feedback received.
